The Ateneo Freshman Merit Scholarship is an academic distinction awarded yearly to outstanding freshman applicants who have excelled in the Ateneo College Entrance Test, have distinguished themselves in their respective high schools, and who also show great promise for the future. This award includes a full tuition and fees grant for any undergraduate degree of the awardee’s choice.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR STUDENTS UNDER THE INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE (IB) PROGRAMME
The Ateneo de Manila University extends a warm welcome to all International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme students. Local or international freshman applicants under the IB Diploma Programme may apply for admission to the Ateneo de Manila University based on the strength of their IB scores through two options:
For those who wish to apply using their predicted scores covering Grade 11 and one semester of Grade 12
For those who wish to submit their IB Diploma

The admission application process takes almost a year, with applications starting in July.
Local applicants are highly encouraged to apply as early as July while in their Grade 12 year in Senior High School.
International applicants, those living and/or studying outside the Philippines, are likewise encouraged to apply as early as July.
The Ateneo de Manila College Applications for SY 2019-2020 runs from July 9, 2020 to August 31, 2020.
