Forester Board Exam Results are announced for download now.  The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the results of the Foresters Licensure Examination conducted on September 11-12, 2019 at various PRC testing centers in the cities of Manila, all PRC regional offices and Zamboanga. The examination was given by the Professional Regulatory Board of Foresters headed by its Chairman, Monina T. Uriarte and its members, Jose A. Lorenzo and Gerardo T. Cabreros.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has yet to announce the official list of passers of the September 2019 Foresters Licensure Examination. We expect it to come out on September 14, 2019. Please stay tuned.

As per Resolution No. 2019-1068 entitled “Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2019”, the target release of September 2019 Forester board exam result will be on September 14, 2019 (Friday) or two (2) working days after the last day of exams. However, results may also be out earlier or later than the target date without prior notice.

On the same board exams administered by PRC on September 2019, results were released after two (2) working days.


The two-days Forester board exam covered the following areas:

  • Forest Ecosystem (Forest Botany, Dendrology, Forest Ecology, Forest Soils, Tree Physiology, Forest Entomology, Forest Pathology, Forest Diversity, Forest Genetics and Forest Tree Improvement) 20%;
  • Forest Governance and Social Forestry (Forest History, Policy and Administration, Social Forestry and Extension, Forest Protection, Environment and Sustainable Development, Professional Ethics and Values) 25%;
  • Forest Utilization Engineering (Wood Structure and Identification, Wood Physics and Mechanics, Wood Seasoning and Preservation, Forest Products Utilization, Utilization of Non-Timber Forest Products) 20%;
  • Forest Production and Management (Forest Biometry, Mensuration and Inventory, Forest Management, Forest Economics and Finance, Range Management, Multiple Uses Forestry, Silvicultural Methods/Systems, Forest Nursery and Forest Plantation) 35%.

Online Initial Registration Application and Requirements

After passing the examination, the next step is to undergo initial registration before taking your oath as a licensed forester. To accomplish the initial registration, follow our PRC online registration guide to help you through the online application process. The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be announced by PRC.

PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
PRC is strictly implementing the online registration system for all passers effective March 30, 2019. Initial registrants are advised to register online via, an online application and registration portal of PRC.

Here are the registration requirements:

  • Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Passport-sized ID Photos in white background and with complete name tag (2 pieces)
  • Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
  • Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)

PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Previous Exam

On September 2019, 721 out of 1,482 hurdled the Foresters Licensure Examination. Victor Lobrigas Corbita from CARAGA State University – Butuan City got the top spot with a rating of 91.20% rating followed by Jaena Naejan Evangelista Tiongco from University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) having 90.90% grade.
