Indian council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Scholarship

India government has offered scholarships for different level of studies especially for undergraduate studies.

Undergraduate Scholarship details

According to the decision made by advance commission of Scholarship distribution on 11/9/1397, this scholarship is allocated to those who passed the 1396/1397 Kankor and have achieved the highest scores in their provinces.

Those whose name are in the list below, can contact the ministry of higher education before December 19, 2019 (28/9/1397) to register themselves.

Language of instruction: English language

Benefits of this scholarship for undergraduate studies:

  • Accommodation at Hostel (hostel fee is paid to the institution)
  • Monthly Living allowance of 18,000
  • Annual Contingent grant of 5,500
  • Tuition fee and other Compulsory fees paid to the institution
  • Expenditure on laboratory chemicals and other related incidental charges for science and agriculture students

ICCR Scholarship for Afghanistan Eligibility:

Besides the eligibility conditions decided by Ministry of higher education, the applicant meet the following criteria as well.

  • Have good knowledge of English language.
  • Be healthy

  • Master degree scholarship: 400
  • PhD scholarship: 200

Benefits of this scholarship for undergraduate studies:

  • Monthly Living allowance of 20,000 (for postgraduate) and 22,00 for M.Phil and PhD
  • Annual Contingent grant of 7000 (for postgraduate) and 12,500 for M.Phil / PhD
  • Tuition fee and other Compulsory fees paid to the institution
  • Expenditure on laboratory chemicals and other related incidental charges for science and agriculture students
  • Thesis/dissertation expenses for M.Phil/PhD 7000

ICCR Scholarship for Afghanistan Eligibility:

  • be proficient in English language
  • have obtained a university degree
  • the average number should be at least 65 %
  • have original diploma and transcript in English language.
  • be under the age of 35 for master degree and under 45 for PhD
  • be currently working in a governmental office
  • the Applicant should provide a commitment to continue his work at the office s/he is currently working
  • have National Identity card (Tazkira)
  • have no criminal record
  • be healthy
  • be introduced by an official letter signed by the first person of the related office.

How to apply for ICCR Scholarship for Afghanistan?

the offices, ministries which want their employees participate at a master or PhD studies, should introduce the eligible applicants to the ministry of higher education before December 19, 2019.
