The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has yet to announce the result of the Board Licensure Examination for Midwives. The said examination was conducted on November 3-4, 2019 in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga. It was given by the Board of Midwifery headed by its Chairman, Dr. Alejandro R. San Pedro and its members, Dr. Remy B. Dequiña, Dr. Josephine H. Hipolito, Dr. Lolita I. Dicang and Ms. Rhodora L. Lopez.

Midwifery Licensure Exam Result

The November 2019 Midwifery Board Exam result including the list of passers will be posted here once available. According to PRC, the target date of the release will be on November 7, 2019 (Wednesday) or three (3) working days after the board exams. However, the date of the release of the results may change without prior notice from the PRC. Please stay tuned!

Online Initial Registration Application and Requirements

Along with the list of passers, the schedule of online appointment for the issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be announced by the Commission. To accomplish the initial registration, here is our PRC online registration guide to help you through the online application process.

Here are the registration requirements:

  • Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Passport-sized ID Photos in white background and with complete name tag (2 pieces)
  • Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
  • Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)

PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

Previous Exam

The PRC administers the Board Licensure Examination for Midwives twice per year on the months of April and November. On April 2019 board exam,  846 out of 2,145 passed the examination. Dennis Michael Esteban Zequerra from Cotabato Medical Foundation College got the top spot with 91.75%% rating. He was followed by Ethel Cubilan Valones and Jade Apple Alayon Jacinto from University of the Philippines School of Health and Sciences – Leyte having 90.95% and 90.85% ratings, respectively.
